WELCOME TO VJSE 2022

The 12th Vietnam - Japan Scientific Exchange Meeting 2022 (VJSE 2022) is co-organized by the Vietnamese Youths and Students Association in Niigata (VYSAN) and the Vietnamese Youths and Students Association in Japan (VYSA). Following the great success of previous VJSE conferences, the conference will be held ONLINE by Nagaoka University of Technology, Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. With the main topic "Connecting the Present, Shaping the Future", the VJSE 2022 promises to bring the two scientific communities of Vietnam and Japan closer together, contributing to repromoting and expanding the bilateral tie promotion after a long pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The VJSE 2022 is supported by the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Japan, the Minister of Science and Technology of Vietnam, Association of Vietnamese Intellectuals in Japan, and Nagaoka University of Technology.

The VJSE 2022 consists of a series of scientific talks in the morning and general talks in the afternoon. The scientific talks will focus on critical research areas in Japan, including Information Science and Control Engineering, Material Science, Energy, and Environment Science, and Integrated Bioscience and Technology. The general talks are mainly on Culture Exchange, Things Every Student Needs in Japan, Work Experience Sharing, and Hidden Challenges for Start-up which provide Vietnamese students with the comprehensive picture of culture and job opportunities in Japan.
